Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2400 Braes Valley Drive


June 15, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of an infant at 2400 Braes Valley Drive about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday (June 14).

The victim, Messiah Marshall, 10 months old, was pronounced dead by responding paramedics.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer J. Roscoe reported:

A male, 22, stated he was taking out his trash and helping his son (victim) walk when three unknown black male suspects approached him.  When one of the suspects started shooting, the man grabbed his son and began running.  The child was struck.  His father flagged down an officer and paramedics were called.

The suspects are described only as three black males in their 20s.  One of them was wearing a red hat and shorts and another male was wearing a white T-shirt.
