Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 315 West Alabama

June 16, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 315 West Alabama about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (June 15).  

The victim, Sylvester Norman, 57, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Chebret and Officer M. Perez reported:  

Mr. Norman went to his girlfriend's place of business at the above address to pick her up from work.  A short time later, Norman's girlfriend found him deceased on the ground next to his vehicle in her business parking lot.  He had suffered a gunshot wound.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
