Investigation into Shooting at 7603 Martin Luther King Boulevard

June 28, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7603 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday (June 27).

The victim is identified as Javonte Robertson, 24, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Major Assaults Unit Sergeant T. Richardson and Officers M. Barrow and R. Montalvo reported:

Mr. Robertson was walking on a sidewalk near the above address when an unknown vehicle passed by traveling southbound.  Robertson heard at least three gunshots from the vehicle and was struck in the right leg.  HFD paramedics transported him to an area hospital in stable condition.

The wanted vehicle is described as possibly a black Ford Crown Victoria.
