Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 2600 Almeda Plaza


March 6, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 2600 Almeda Plaza about 7:40 a.m. last Friday (March 3).

The victim, Jessie Levi Johnson, 41, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His cause of death is pending determination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and J. Burton reported:

A man's body was found in a drainage ditch at the above address.  After recovering the body, the man was positively identified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences as Mr. Johnson.  The cause and circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
