Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6900 Merriwood
March 17, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 6900 Merriwood about 7:35 p.m. on Thursday (March 16).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim deceased from a gunshot wound. Witnesses reported seeing a newer model, white Lexus SUV leaving the scene.
The suspects are described only as two black males in their early 20s.
Investigators believe the shooting may be narcotics-related.
