Investigation into Shooting at 8039 Boone Road
October 18, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the apparent accidental shooting of a juvenile at 8039 Boone Road about 6 p.m. on Tuesday (October 17).
The male victim, 9, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds to the arm and leg area. He was transported by HFD paramedics to an area hospital in stable condition.
Further investigation determined a 17-year-old male had accidentally discharged a handgun and struck the victim.
No charges have been filed.
