Investigation into Man Shot at 12300 North Freeway


September 12, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of three males at 12300 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 5:35 p.m. on Sunday (September 10). 

One victim, Rashad Brown, 18, was transported to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital in an unknown condition.  Two other male victims were treated and released at the scene. 

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers C. Sharp and N. Sharp reported: 

Mr. Brown and an unknown suspect got into an argument inside the shopping mall at the above address.  During the argument, the suspect produced a firearm and shot Brown.  Two other bystanders were also wounded by the gunfire.  The suspect then fled the scene. 

The suspect is described only as a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build and long dread locks.  He is believed to have been accompanied by a black female, described only as having red hair.
