September 25, 2017 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally shot at 6800 Westbranch Drive about 3 a.m. on September 18.

The victim, Dominique McLaughlin, 26, of Houston, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A second victim, Olivia Sael Robertson-Chandler, 26, of Los Angeles, also suffered a gunshot wound.  She was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and J. Nguyen reported:

Both victims were inside a parked vehicle at the above address waiting to meet someone when they were shot.  Mr. McLaughlin drove southbound toward Bellaire Boulevard before collapsing.  Ms. Robertson-Chandler then jumped into the driver’s seat and drove to the 6700 block of Highway 6 South where she found help and contacted police.

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects in this case.
