Update: Composite Sketch, Surveillance Video of Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 8404 South Course

April 4, 2018 - Houston police homicide investigators have released surveillance video and a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 8404 South Course about 6 a.m. on Tuesday (April 3).

The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a skinny build.  He has black hair with light red highlights/tips.  A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release and surveillance video can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/mWo_e8zYVhM

The victim, Ramone Alviso Esquivel, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. Evans and Officer K. McDonald reported:

Mr. Esquivel was in the parking lot of his apartment complex at the above address and on his way to work when he was confronted by an unknown black male suspect who attempted to forcibly take Esquivel's personal property.  When Esquivel resisted, the suspect produced a gun, shot Esquivel and then fled the scene.
