Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10200 North Freeway
August 14, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10200 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 9:15 p.m. on Monday (August 13).
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer R. Singleton reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was attempting to cross the main lanes of the freeway at the above address when he was struck by a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound on the freeway. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The female driver of the Silverado was questioned and released with no charges filed. The investigation is continuing.
