Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6121 Pinemont Drive
Feburary 26, 2018 - The fatal shooting of a burglary suspect at 6121 Pinemont Drive #L about 12:15 a.m. today (Feb. 26) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective T. Andrade reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address and observed a male with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The business owner stated he shot the male after he was awakened by the male breaking into his business.
