Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3502 Lydia

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 3502 Lydia about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday (March 24).  

The identity of the deceased victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found two men had suffered gunshot wounds.  One was pronounced deceased and the other man, 31, was transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital in an unknown condition.  

The unknown suspects fled the scene in a silver, extended-cab, four-door pickup truck.
