Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 611 Diary Ashford
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 611 Dairy Ashford about 11:55 p.m. on Monday (April 30).
The victim, Sam Kyle James, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Overstreet and M. Cass reported:
Mr. James was found shot and unresponsive in an apartment complex parking garage at the above address. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
James' girlfriend stated to investigators that he with her at the above address and had told her he was going to the parking garage to meet someone.
There is no known suspect nor motive in this shooting.
