Investigation into Shooting at 3300 Dixie Drive

Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 3300 Dixie Drive about 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday (May 8).  

The victims, Christopher Gilbert, 20, and Caesar Bradley, 20, were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives A. Hernandez and G. Black reported:  

Mr. Gilbert was sitting inside his vehicle when it was struck by a bullet.  As Gilbert got out of the vehicle and ran toward the Dixie Food Mart, he was struck in the right foot and left arm by gunfire.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital.  

Mr. Bradley, who was playing dice in the area, heard the gunshots and ran westbound toward a nightclub in the 3200 block of Dixie.  He was also wounded in the left arm and right leg by gunfire and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
