Investigation into Shooting Incident at 7111 Martin Luther King Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7111 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 10:20 p.m. on Monday (May 14).

The victim, Trevion Winfree, 24, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives S. Ragsdale and A. Ferrell reported:

Mr. Winfree was sitting in his car in front of a convenience store at the above address when an unknown male began shooting at him.  Winfree was struck and the suspect, described only as a black male, fled in a silver Dodge Dart.

A few minutes later, a second unknown suspect approached Winfree on foot and also began shooting at him.  The second suspect then fled on foot.
