Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6500 Goforth

November 26, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of two other individuals at 6500 Goforth about 7:45 p.m. on Friday (November 23).

The identity of the deceased, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Pickett and K. Clark reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported drive-by shooting at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the three victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  One man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other two victims were transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions.

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
