Two Suspects Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 4425 West Fuqua

September 12, 2018 - Houston police have arrested two suspects charged in a shooting incident that injured a total of four men at 4425 West Fuqua about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday (September 9).

One suspect, Adrian Lenier Brazile (b/m, 27), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in the 184th State District Court.  The other suspect, Christopher Deangel Richards (b/m, 26), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 182nd State District Court.  A photo of Brazile, who is hospitalized, is not available at this time.  A photo of Richards is attached to this news release.

Brazile and Richards are accused of shooting Brandon Moore, 29, and Terry Adams, 27, who were transported to area hospitals.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Roberts and A. Ferrell reported:

An argument about a cell phone broke out between two females in the parking lot of a strip center at the above address.  Once the fight was over and the women were separated, it was found that Brazile had armed himself with a pistol.  Richards then also pulled out his own pistol and the suspects shot at each other, wounding each other.  In the process of shooting at each other, the suspects also shot Messrs. Moore and Adams.  Adams was treated and released for a gunshot wound to the foot.  Moore was treated for a gunshot wound to the torso. Brazile sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and is being treated at Ben Taub General Hospital.  Richards sustained several gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was treated and released.
