Investigation into Shooting at 3830 Southlawn Street

April 5, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 3830 Southlawn Street about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday (April 4).  

The victim, 17, suffered a gunshot wound to the elbow and was transported to an area hospital.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer O. Flores reported:  

The victim was inside his residence when he heard an altercation between an unknown group of individuals outside.  The victim walked over to the window to see what was happening and was struck by a stray bullet in the left elbow.  Paramedics transported him to the hospital.  

The investigation is continuing.
