August 29 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man and woman that occurred at 770 Greens Road #614 about 8:25 a.m. on June 4, 2017.

The suspect, Darius Gilmore (b/m, 28), is charged with capital murder in the 183rd State District Court.  A booking photo of Gilmore is attached to this news release.

The male victim, Robert Watkins, 26, and female victim, Sydnece Prymus, 24, were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Nabors and K. Lovelace reported:

A relative of one of the victims came to their apartment at the above address and found them deceased inside from gunshot wounds.  The relative called 9-1-1 to report the murders.

Further investigation led to Gilmore being identified and charged as a suspect in this case.  On Wednesday (August 28), he was arrested without incident.
