Investigation into Woman Found Deceased at 2901 Fulton Street

July 02, 2019 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 2901 Fulton Street about 12:30 p.m. on Monday (July 1).  

The victim, Evelyn McKinney, 58, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Detective B. Evans reported:  

HPD patrol officers were contacted by Harris County Precinct 6 Constable's Office deputies regarding a deceased woman found at the above address.  Precinct 6 deputies requested the apartment complex's maintenance man assist in checking the apartment and she was found her lying on the floor of her kitchen, unresponsive.  HPD homicide investigators responded to the scene and a preliminary investigation indicated there were no signs of forced entry or foul play.  

Further investigation and information obtained by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences indicated McKinney suffered from multiple medical issues.  

The investigation is pending McKinney's cause of death.
