Suspect Charged, Wanted in Assault at 6400 Murrow Street

July 18, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the assault of a man at 6400 Murrow Street about 10 p.m. on Tuesday (July 16).  

The suspect, Deija Grays (b/f, 27), is charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 248th State District Court.  

A photo of Grays, who remains at large, is not available for release at this time.   

The victim, Briana Hall, 25, suffered blunt force injuries to her head, back and neck and was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant J. Dodson and Officer J. Roberts reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at the above address and found Ms. Hall lying in the street.  She told police her ex-girlfriend ran her over with her car.  Paramedics transported Hall to the hospital. 

Further investigation identified Gray as the suspect in this case and she was subsequently charged.  She was last seen in a 2015 Chrysler 200 with Texas license plates JMH-0641.
