Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 6436 Bellaire Boulevard

March 11, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a juvenile suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a juvenile male at 6436 Bellaire Boulevard about 4:30 p.m. on March 6. 

The juvenile male suspect, 14, is being referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  

The victim, 14,  was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased last Friday (March 8).  

HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Caten and D. Higgs reported:

According to witnesses, the victim was arguing with another juvenile (suspect) when the suspect stabbed the victim.  The suspect then fled eastbound on Bellaire Blvd. 

The Houston ISD police department was initially investigating the case until the victim's condition worsened and HPD's Homicide Division was contacted.  

Further investigation developed information on the suspect's identity and he was taken into custody last Friday (March 8) in the 5400 block of Ashbrook.
