Investigation into Shooting at 7225 Bellerive Drive

May 23, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7225 Bellerive Drive about 12:50 a.m. today (May 23).  

The victim, Brodrick Simon, 28, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Williams and B. Salazar reported:  

Mr. Simon was taking out the trash outside a residence at the above address when he was met by a suspect known to him, who then shot Simon at least three times.  Simon was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.  The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction immediately after the shooting.  

Investigators learned Simon and the suspect had an argument about money on Tuesday (May 21).
