Investigation into Shooting at 2600 Berkley Street

October 22, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 2600 Berkley Street about 2:30 p.m. on Monday (October 21).

The victims, Manuel Morales, 20, and Erick Perez, 18, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective A. Le reported:

According to witnesses, the two men were walking through an empty field to go to a park when a black four-door Ford sedan stopped on the street next to them.  An unknown male, with a bandanna over his faced and armed with a shotgun, got out of the vehicle and fired multiple shots at Mr. Morales and Mr. Perez. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and fled southbound on Berkley Street.
