Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11000 Chatterton
September 23, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 11000 Chatterton about 7 a.m. on Saturday (September 21).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Colbert and M. Barrow reported:
A passer-by was walking along a trail near the Addicks Reservoir at the above address, saw a female lying in the middle of the trail, and called 9-1-1. HPD patrol officers responded to the scene and found the female with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
