September 25, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a woman at 6407 Antoine Drive about 2 a.m. last Saturday (September 21).  

The suspect, George Jonell Henderson (b/m, 30), is charged with aggravated assault of a family member and felon in possession of a weapon in the 338th State District Court.  He is accused in the shooting of  Bre Unna Patrice Ann Gamble, 20, who was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.  

A photo of Henderson, who is not in custody,  is attached to this news released.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Graf and V. Habukiha reported:  

Ms. Gamble was in her apartment when she was shot by a male suspect known to her,  Paramedics transported her to the hospital.  The suspect fled the scene prior to HPD officers arriving.  

Further investigation identified Henderson as the suspect in this case.
