Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5200 Lockwood
September 30, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 5200 Lockwood about 7:30 p.m. on Friday (September 27).
The female victim, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Glenn reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Lockwood at the above address- not in a crosswalk- when she was struck by a blue Chevrolet Suburban. The driver remained at the scene and was questioned and released.
