Investigation into Shooting at 6500 Willowbend Drive
April 29, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 6500 Willowbend Drive about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday (April 28).
The victims, Joseph Hamilton, 23, and Anderson Ugochukwu, 22, were transported to area hospitals in critical and stable conditions, respectively.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Graff II and V. Habukiha reported:
The two men were in the parking lot of a strip center at the above address with a group of people when Mr. Hamilton appeared to get into an argument with an unknown male. Following the argument, the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot Hamilton multiple times in the head and chest. The suspect then fired his weapon in all directions, striking Mr. Ugochukwu in the right shoulder.
The suspect was described only as an older black male, unshaven, with salt and pepper-colored hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and dressed in all black clothing.
