Update: Surveillance Photos in Fatal Shooting at 8000 Crestview Drive

August 18, 2020 - Houston police homicide detectives have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a man at 8000 Crestview Drive about 7 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 16).

The surveillance photos of a black Kia Rio are attached to this news release. 

The wanted suspects are described only as two black males in their late 20s or early 30s.  One was wearing a black shirt with black shorts.  The other male was wearing a white shirt, red cap and blue jean shorts.  (He is seen from a distance in one of the attached photos).  

The males are wanted in the killing of Robert Stewart, 49.

HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Caten and D. Higgs reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting outside a residence at the above address and found Mr. Stewart suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  According to witnesses, two suspects stopped at the end of the driveway of the residence and exited their vehicles.  They then approached Stewart, physically assaulted him and then shot him twice.  Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
