August 24, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7901 Amelia Road about 8:20 p.m. on Saturday (August 22).

The victim, 23, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective E. Bridges reported:

The victim and another individual were sitting in their vehicle when an unknown suspect pulled alongside in his vehicle.  The suspect and victim began arguing before the suspect got out of his vehicle and shot the victim multiple times.  He then struck the other individual with his vehicle as both victims attempted to flee.
