Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 10600 Westbrae Parkway

December 4, 2020 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 10600 Westbrae Parkway about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (December 3).  

The suspect, Jakhari Jackson (b/m, 26), is charged with murder in the 176th State District Court.  A booking photo of Jackson is attached to this news release.  

The identity of the victim, 80, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported: 

The victim was walking on the sidewalk trail near the above address when Jackson approached him and stabbed him.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  Jackson fled on foot and was taken into custody a short time later by responding HPD patrol officers.  Jackson was subsequently charged for his role in the stabbing.
