December 28 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11400 South Main Street about 3:15 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 25).

The female victim, Altonette Davis, 30, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Jewell and Officer E. Clark reported:

The victim, Ms. Davis, was driving a silver Jeep northbound at the above address when she appeared to lose control while in a curve.  The Jeep crossed three lanes of traffic, struck the right concrete barrier, and rolled over before landing upright on the roadway.  Davis was ejected from the vehicle.  A female front seat passenger, 25, sustained a minor head injury and was transported to an area hospital after experiencing chest pains.

The investigation is continuing.
