Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9100 Braewick Drive

December 29, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9100 Braewick Drive that occurred about 1:55 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 28).

The identity of the male victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Reinoso and Officer W. Smith reported:

The victim was driving a white Chevy Suburban at a high rate of speed westbound on North Braeswood as a white Ford F-150 was leaving a stop sign on Braewick Drive and making a left turn onto North Braeswood.  The vehicles collided in the intersection.  The impact caused the Chevrolet to flip and land upside down.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced the driver of the Chevrolet deceased.  No one else was injured.

The driver of the Ford did not show signs of intoxication and consented to a blood draw.

The investigation is continuing.
