Investigation into Shooting at 11415 North Freeway

February 3, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 11415 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 1).

The victim, Alberto Jaramillo, 28, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. De La Torre and J. Russell reported:

Mr. Jaramillo and an unknown suspect were involved in a physical altercation at a night club at the above address.  Two security guards working the front door of the club broke up the altercation.  The suspect went to his vehicle while Jaramillo remained with the security guards.  The suspect then drove around the parking lot and fired several shots at Jaramillo and then fled the scene.  Paramedics transported Jaramillo to a hospital.  He sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his mid to late 20s and driving a white Cadillac.
