Investigation into Shooting at 8323 Wilcrest Road
January 6, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8323 Wilcrest Road about 11:30 a.m. today (January 6).
The victim, Robert King, 26, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers W. Elliott and A. Johnson reported:
Mr. King was in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address when he was confronted by a male suspect. For unknown reasons, the suspect shot King multiple times and then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported King to the hospital. A preliminary investigation indicated King was seen selling narcotics prior to the shooting.
The suspect is described only as a black male.
