Investigation into Shooting at 10445 Bissonnet Street
January 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and a woman at 10445 Bissonnet Street about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday (January 18).
The victims, Cortez M. Brittenum, 29, and Briana Stewart, 18, were transported to an area hospital and are expected to survive their wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer V. Habukiha reported:
Mr. Brittenum and Ms. Stewart were leaving a lounge and driving near the above address when a vehicle of unknown make and model drove up next to them on the driver's side. Multiple shots were from inside the suspect vehicle and Brittenum and Stewart were struck. Paramedics transported both victims to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
