Investigation into Shooting at 3200 Truxillo Street

May 26, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 3200 Truxillo Street about 7:45 p.m. on Monday (May 25).

The victims, Dalan Isom, 31, and Dennis Hill, 37, were transported to area hospitals with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer L. Bolmanski reported:

Mr. Isom was driving a black truck and was leaving a corner store parking lot when an unknown suspect in a 2010-2015 red/maroon, four-door Buick with chrome rims stopped in the street, leaned out the window, and opened fire on Isom.  A bullet grazed Isom in the head as he was driving away.  His passenger was not injured.  The suspect fled the scene.  An individual in a nearby vehicle stopped and drove Isom to the hospital for treatment.

A short time later, a second victim, Mr. Hill, was inside an SUV and was shot several times, possibly by the same suspect who shot Isom.  The circumstances as to where and why Hill was shot have not been determined.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
