Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2851 Wallingford Drive

November 18, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2851 Wallingford Drive that occurred about 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday (November 17).  

The identity of the victim, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Burrow and Detective M. Estep reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim in the parking lot.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.  

Further investigation and witness statements indicated the victim was waiting inside a vehicle when he and a passenger were approached by two male suspects.  One of the males opened the door to the vehicle and demanded property.  The suspects then fatally shot the victim then fled the scene on foot.  The passenger was not injured.  

The suspects are described only as two dark-skinned black males, 17 to 20 years of age and with black hair.
