September 8, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 424 Delaware Street that occurred about 12:35 p.m. on Friday (September 4).

The victim, Elliot Ames, 53, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective C. Castellani reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address and found Mr. Ames suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.  

There is no known motive nor suspect(s).
