Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11911 Martin Luther King Boulevard

September 10, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11911 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday (September 9).  

The victim, Dal Windoms, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Cegielski and Detectives W. Gilbert, L. Lange and C. Lamont reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Windoms in the breezeway.  He had sustained at least one gunshot wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Windoms deceased. 

Witnesses reported Windoms was shot by an unknown suspect, described only as a black male, who fled the scene in a black sedan.
