Investigation into Shooting Incident at 2201 South Dairy Ashford Road

September 16, 2020 - Houston police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at HPD officers at 2201 South Dairy Ashford Road about 1:10 a.m. today (September 16).  

The officers were not injured.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant V. Garcia, Jr. and Detectives A. Williams and B. Godoy reported:  

Three HPD Westside Patrol Division officers were in their patrol vehicles in a church parking lot at the above address when a white or silver sedan drove by them.  Multiple shots were fired by a suspect(s) in the sedan.  Officers heard the gunshots and the sound of the rounds passing near their patrol vehicles.  None of the officers nor their vehicles was struck.  Officers recovered one fired bullet casing on South Dairy Ashford, within line of sight of their vehicles.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
