Investigation into Shooting, Stabbing at 4002 North Main Street

September 25, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of one man and the stabbing of two other men at 4002 North Main Street that occurred about 2:55 a.m. today (September 25).  

One victim, Jose Gonzales, 22, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  Two other victims, Steven Andrew Belmarez, 28, and Steven Paul Rodriguez IV, 22, suffered stab wounds and were transported to an area hospital in stable conditions.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Graff, A. Williams and J. Windham reported:  

Two large groups of males at a bar at the above address got into a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical fight that moved just outside the front doors of the bar.  The fight resulted in Messrs Belmarez and Rodriguez IV stabbed and Gonzales shot.  All three were transported by paramedics to area hospitals.  

At this time, there are no known suspects.
