April 5, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 2200 Wirt Road about 11:30 p.m. last Friday (April 2).  

The victim, Erick Patino, 26, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers B. Godoy and J. Windham reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing at the apartment complex parking lot at the above address and learned Mr. Patino got into a verbal altercation with a known suspect.  During the altercation, Patina was stabbed once in the chest.  The suspect fled the scene prior to officers' arrival on scene.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Patino to the hospital.
