April 26, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of an individual at 8609 Westheimer Road that occurred about 9:40 p.m. last Friday (April 23).

The identity of the victim, 22, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Jimenez and Detectives C. Lafour and J. Escobar reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot of the business at the above address and found the victim deceased of a gunshot wound.  Witnesses reported hearing gunshots, but upon police arrival no witnesses remained at the scene.  At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
