Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4600 Fannin Street

August 16, 2021 - Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 4600 Fannin Street that occurred about 8:15 p.m. on August 6 has died.

The identity of the male victim, 58, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and South Central Patrol Officers reported:

The driver of a white Land Rover Range Rover was traveling southbound at the above address when he made a wide right turn and struck the victim, operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle, also traveling southbound. 

Paramedics transported the victim Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center where doctors pronounced the man deceased last Thursday (August 13).

The male driver, 34, of the Land Rover remained at the scene, was questioned and released.  He did not show any signs of intoxication.  The investigation is continuing.
