August 19, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6261 West Little York Road about 1:20 a.m. today.

The victim, Kevin Sanchez, 18, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers F. Lee and C. Brown reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a convenience store at the above address and learned Mr. Sanchez and a juvenile male, 15, were leaving the location when Sanchez noticed his vehicle was being followed by a green or tan colored sedan.  As Sanchez continued to drive, an occupant from the sedan started shooting.  Sanchez was shot in the lower back.  The younger male was not shot, but sustained a large laceration to his forehead.  Paramedics transported both males to the hospital.
