August 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8306 Roswell Street about 6:40 p.m. last Friday (Aug. 20).

The identity of the victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and A. Henderson reported:  

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and observed blood and discharged firearm evidence in the street, but could not locate a victim.  The officers learned that witnesses drove the victim to an area fire station, where paramedics then transported him to a hospital.  The man was then pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Investigators were told the victim was shot at least one time soon after he approached two male suspects.  The suspects then fled on foot.  There is no suspect description or motive in the shooting at this time.
