Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8700 Galveston Road
August 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8700 Galveston Road about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 22).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer J. Tran reported:
The victim was driving a white Ford Ranger pickup truck northbound at the above address when he left the roadway, veered into a ditch and struck the drainage culvert. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
