August 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 900 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) about 3:10 a.m. last Thursday (Aug. 19).

The identity of the female victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer Z. Radcliffe reported:

Patrol officers responded to a crash on the freeway at the above address and learned the victim, a pedestrian, was walking or crossing the roadway when she was struck by a brown Honda motorcycle.  Paramedics were called and transported the victim and the male motorcyclist, 32, to an area hospital in critical condition.

Investigators were advised the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital on Saturday (Aug. 21).  The investigation is continuing.
