February 18, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 920 Granville Drive about 4:50 a.m. today.

The victim, Dorrine Lopez, 46, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. De La Torre and J. Roberts reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at a vacant lot at the above address and located Ms. Lopez, who had been shot several times.  Paramedics were called and transported her to the hospital.

At this time, there are no known witnesses, suspect(s) or motive in the shooting.
